Acharya Prashant is a uniquely original spiritual teacher with a strong association to Advaita Vedanta, whilst simultaneously incorporating ideas from a multitude of other spiritual traditions into his lectures and written material.

His work is founded on Compassion, and expresses itself as demolition of fallacies, particularly with regard to what might be widely accepted as truth.

In a classical sense he is an orthodox spiritual teacher, in the contemporary sense he is a veganism promoter, an environmental activist, a science advocate, a superstition skeptic and a campaigner for essential human Freedom.

He was a prodigious child, excelling academically and later pursuing a technical management education at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. After several years as a management consultant where he reached a highly respectable career high, an inner compulsion towards a more spiritual path urged him to leave the corporate world and setup the Advait Life-Education at age 28, with a vision awaken the innate clarity within people.

At the age of 30, Acharya Prashant began giving public discourses, followed by open discussions. These sessions were deeply moving and meditative for those in attendance, bringing inner Peace, Joy and healing to many. At this stage he also began to hold Self-awareness camps, taking Truth seekers to the Himalayas for five consecutive days of discussion, meditation and contemplation.

Acharya Ji would converse on many topics ranging from spiritual texts and gurus from across the world and across the ages. He has since wrote over 20 books, and possesses a rare talent for explaining knowledge and wisdom from religious texts in a manner that is easy to grasp.

Acharya Ji has been rigorously involved in delivering discourses on basic existential topics such as Love, Fear, Death and other timeless moral dilemmas, dissecting each to its very root components, and allowing one to realize a deeper understanding of the very nature of the topic in question.

He particularly enjoys speaking on Vedantic literature, harmonizing ancient with modern ideals, dogmatic with scientific, deeply philosophical with simple notions.

Newtonian Shamanics is a knowledge and experiential online think tank which promotes theories on reality and consciousness.

Each one of us deserves the Truth. So, we made a conscious choice: to keep our work open for all, regardless of whether they can afford to donate.

A tremendous body of our work – around 10,000 videos, 3000 articles, and more – has been made freely available to all on the internet. Just one piece of statistic to put in perspective the magnitude of our charitable work: Around a million minutes of video content is consumed daily by our viewers on YouTube alone, absolutely for free.

This would not be possible without financial contributions from our audiences, who support our work from around the world.

We have upheld our independence in the face of the disintegration of genuine spirituality – with more and more contemporary spiritual content being just disguised commercialism, consumptionism, and egoism. We refuse to belong to any lineage or tradition, we refuse to identify with any ideology or community, nor do we pander to base sentiments to gain followership or financial assistance. This enables us to freely say the truth without inhibition.

Your financial support has meant we can continue to keep bringing you the truth and the undiluted essence of the scriptures. You have supported our independence, and we are grateful.

We need your support so we can keep bringing the truth to you. Any amount contributed by you towards our noble cause is valuable.
