Dance, and dance naked

The one to whom you most quickly and frequently turn to seeking support, is also the one who would want you to keep seeking support. That is the difference between God and this world. When you take support from the world, the world ensures that you keep taking support. The world ensures that you never become strong enough to not to ask for support. When you take support from God, He ensures that you need no more support.

How to know whether you are good at something? || Acharya Prashant (2014)

You are asking, “what to do?” Do that which dissolves you. How to choose people to be with? To whom should I relate? Who should be my partner and companion? That person, with whom you feel dissolved. Where there is relaxation and peace, where there is no need to keep thinking and calculating. That is the person who is right for you. Whether it’s a job, or wife, or house, there is one common way of coming to the right decision. See, whether the presence of that place or person or work, gives you peace and nothing else matters. And that’s why I am repeatedly saying, see whether it dissolves you.

How do I know if I am acting from the right center? || Acharya Prashant (2016)

Anybody here who invites his desires? Do your thoughts take your permission to come? So the thoughts have come now let them play out. Why must you start meddling with them. But you feel an obligation, “Oh, these are my thoughts.” Are they your thoughts? And if you wanted them to come then you should also be able to ask them to go away. Try!
Neither do you call them nor do you see them off, all happens on its own, you only make a mess of your life. Thought came, thought departed and you have been rolled over for no gain, no purpose, and no sense.
We have no obligation towards thoughts.
We have no obligation towards influences.
And when you don’t have these obligations, that is realization.
You don’t have to be involved in all of this.

Facts and Imaginations || Acharya Prashant (2015)

You don’t have to check facts, you have to be in facts.

If you are finding that there are contradictions in your mind, then you are not in facts. It is not a question of checking your facts, they are not facts at all, you are living in imaginations. Get rid of these imaginations. What you have in front of you are facts. You don’t have to go and procure facts. You are — that is a fact.

Imaginations take time. Facts are present, instantaneous, here. You can imagine that you have eight legs, and now you have a contradiction, “How am I able to wear these normal trousers?” Then you will have to go and count your legs. Instead of counting your legs, if you face a contradiction, simply wake up.

A contradiction is a sure-shot proof that you are dreaming.
