Beneath your simple looking life, is there real freedom? || Acharya Prashant,on J.Krishnamurti(2018)

If you really want to test yourself, then go deep into your psyche and the collective psyche of mankind, and see what real issues lie hidden there.

Face them, try answering them.

I would be glad if you can answer them, I would be equally glad if you cannot answer them.

Because if you cannot answer them, you will discover that a lot more needs to be learned.

And that would be helpful.

Explanations don’t help in the real sense || Acharya Prashant on, Jiddu Krishnamurti (2018)

Unknown cannot be understood in the plane of the unknown itself.

To understand the unknown, you have to take it to the plane of the known at least.

The Real Teacher does not offer you explanations in the same plane.

In the known plane, in our personal mental plane, we anyway have lot of explanations.

The Teacher is needed not to explain the question, but to carry the question to some other level, some other dimension.

Do you contradict Krishnamurti? || Acharya Prashant, on Jiddu Krishnamurti (2019)

But such is the human condition.

On one hand there is great danger that if you seek light, you will seek the wrong kind of light. You will just seek darkness, disguised as light.

On the other hand, there is the equally dark option of not seeking at all.

Between these two possibilities, I seek the possibility of seeking the Light, with all it’s associated dangers.

Isn’t it better to die fighting in the battle, than not fight at all?

What is love? || Acharya Prashant on Jiddu Krishnamurti (2018)

All objects are small.

The object of love is so gigantic, that you cannot call it an ‘object’.

Further, all objects leave ample space for you to remain.

All objects leave space for the dualistic subject to remain, and prosper.

The object of love is so big, so total, so filling, so occupying, so unrelenting, so very compelling, that it leaves no space for the subject to hide and survive.
