Repeated slips in the spiritual path? || Acharya Prashant, on Nitnem Sahib (2019)

It does not come easily to the mind to be self-reflective.

Therefore, the mind has to be trained and taught.

But it comes very easily even to the uneducated mind to gape and grope. Look at things outside, and then go for them.

But does it equally easily to the mind to turn inwards and be self-reflective?

That does not come.

We are designed that way.

Neither can the fingers hold the Truth, nor is the mind designed to seek the Truth.

Can the Guru assure you of liberation? || Acharya Prashant, on Nitnem Sahib (2019)

God remains present, but never obtrusive.

He lets the ego take it’s time, He lets the ego choose on it’s own.

He may send messengers, he may create conditions.

He may knock, he may show the Light.

But he would never decide on your behalf, or live your life on your behalf.

That’s the choice you have to make – how to live.

If God is nameless, how to continuously recite His name? || Acharya Prashant (2019)

If at all you are obsessed with names, you better be obsessed with the name of the Lord, because the name of the Lord has a special quality – it dissolves all other names that you are fond of, so fixated with.

And having dissolved all other names, the name of the Lord too disappears.

It’s a cleansing agent.

It just sanitizes, and doesn’t stay back.

The Great Magic of Scriptures || Acharya Prashant, on Nitnem Sahib (2019)

Those who love the Truth their world becomes truthful, everything in their world gets arranged to serve the Truth.

It comes from the Truth, it serves the Truth.

It serves the Truth, so more comes from the Truth.

More comes from the Truth, there is more to serve the Truth.

The Truth is served even more, there is even more that comes from Truth.
