If guilt troubles you || Acharya Prashant (2019)

That’s what guilt does – it perpetuates the mistake, instead of correcting it.

It appears as if guilt is ashamed of the mistake, but if you look carefully, you will find that guilt often defends and perpetuates the mistake.

So it’s alright to feel guilty, but do check whether your guilt is a truly transformative force.

If it is not transforming you, then it’s self-deception.

Time to give Vidya it’s due

Let’s give Vidya its due.

Let’s invest more of our attention, time and resources towards spiritual learning.

Let the study of the highest philosophies like Vedanta be institutionalised, let the beautiful songs of the saints enter mainstream culture, let the young and old alike discover the higher dimension of life.

That alone can save us, and that alone would be a real celebration of Basant Panchami.

Your relationships tell about your inner mechanism || Acharya Prashant (2019)

There is no self-observation possible without looking into relationships.

In fact, the whole thing of self-observation is the thing of relationships.

How else will you observe the self?

How else will you observe yourself?

You do not exist independent of others.

So whenever you will have to observe yourself, you will have look at your connection with others.
