No descriptions or sequences really apply to the Truth || Acharya Prashant, on Raman Maharshi (2019)

The True lover of Truth has to be an unrelenting skeptic.

He has to be uncompromisingly ruthless.

What is it that he must be skeptical of?

Everything, everything that comes from him.

That’s the one trait that characterizes the true seeker – a total absence of confidence.

He keeps asking, probing, and never concludes.

He never stops at something.

He never ends.

Learn to cheat the ego || Acharya Prashant (2019)

Spirituality is the art of cheating the ego.

Unless you know how to cheat yourself, how can you be spiritual.

If you try to be honest with the ego, you will never be able to deal with the ego.

Learn to cheat yourself.

If you are to be loyal to the Truth, you must learn how to be disloyal to yourself.

If you are loyal to yourself, you cannot be loyal to the Truth.

Pick your side.

Honestly watch your actions, and you’ll be liberated || Acharya Prashant,on Adhyatma Upanishad(2019)

Let your impulses keep raging, do not let them occupy your mind.

Do not start actively thinking on their lines, and then the impulses will gradually fall silent.

You have the choice.

Nothing happens to you without your consent.

Impulses appeal to you, thoughts appeal to you, you are the judge.

You decide whether to accept their appeals.
